This powerful production invites audiences to step inside the foster care journey through movement, monologue, and storytelling that inspire empathy and action. Whether you’re an experienced actor or an emerging artist driven by purpose, we invite you to be part of this transformative work.

In Crossroads, an immersive theatrical experience, audiences witness a teenager’s search for stability inside foster care as the quiet resilience of a foster mother reveals how survival is shaped not by systems alone, but by those who refuse to stop showing up.

Teej Morgan-Arzola // "Jayden"
Teej Morgan-Arzola is a Denver-based filmmaker, theater performer, and daytime bartender. This is Teej’s return to theatre since he was Tim Allgood from Noises Off at the Arvada Center. He also played George Gibbs in Our Town at the Arvada Center. Other credits: Usnavi from In The Heights (Vintage Theatre) and Pete/Paul/Assistant in An Octoroon (Benchmark Theatre). Teej is a graduate from Denver School of the Arts and the University of Colorado. Sko Buffs! @teejmorgan

Andrew J. Betts// "Young Jayden"
Andrew J. Betts is a Denver-based actor and performer with experience across on-camera, theater, and audio productions. He has held lead and featured roles in commercial work for brands like Verizon and Webroot, as well as projects including Beyond Chaos and Destination Freedom Black Radio Days. On stage, he has performed in a range of productions while also taking on directing and stage management roles. In addition to his work in the arts, Andrew brings skills in violin, choir, and visual arts, and has been recognized for his leadership and involvement in school and community programs.

Jaime Lujan // "Tanya"
Jaime Lujan has been creating theater and performance art for more than 35 years as an actor, director, and activist. A former Artistic Director of Latina Theatre Lab in San Francisco, she has performed in and produced original musical comedies including ¿¡Que Nuevas!? and Last Stop Ranchera. In Denver, she has collaborated with The LIDA Project and appeared in productions at the Bug Theater, while also teaching multimedia theater and arts to youth and adults. Jaime holds an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

Mitch Marquez // "Marcus"
Mitch Marquez has been working in theater and film in Denver for 17 years. Appearing in productions with Theatre Artibus, Mirror Image Arts, and The Catamounts. He is excited to be working on such a unique project with such incredible collaborators!

Terry Burnsed // "JUDGE HOLLOWAY"
Terry Burnsed, PhD earned both his master’s and doctorate from the University of Colorado Boulder and has taught at several Front Range colleges, including all three schools on the Auraria campus. An actor and playwright, he has performed with organizations including the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Athena Project, Fearless Theatre, the LIDA Project, and Pandemic Collective. His original play The Heretic’s Wake premiered in 1990, and his newest work, Bloodthirsty Savages, is currently seeking production.

Vincent Clouse // "DeShawn"
Vincent Clouse, also known as 1-natVson-1, blends leadership, discipline, and innovation to create lasting impact in the world through music and other art forms. He is a Denver based artist. His mission statement is “Promoting the appreciation of beauty through art and the progression of humanity”. He is most known for his presence in Hip Hop. He has starred in on-stage adaptations of Indiana Jones, Pride and Prejudice, and was the theatre host for The Ballad of Bobby Trombone. He participates in various voice over projects. Katie Webster // Scenic and Props Designer
After 18 years working as a scenic painter and props artisan, theatre keeps me coming back for one core reason: the collective experience of witnessing what truly collaborative work can achieve. Favorite local credits include creating both traditional theater and immersive experiences with Incite Colorado, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Lone Tree Arts Center, Curious Theatre, Theatre Artibus, Control Group, Public Works Theatre Company, and Emancipation Theatre Company.

akilbeatsdenver // Music and Sound Design
Courtney “akilbeatsdenver” Alston is a composer/programmer/beatmaker/producer from Denver, Colorado. He has established himself as a go-to producer for hip-hop and r&b acts from the Denver area for years, and is known for creating music that retains individuality while simultaneously embracing modern contemporary themes. Evolution of his expressions will continue with each new inspiring and meaningful project he is affiliated with, continuing focus on theater and film soundtracks and scores.

Debbie Scheer // Emcee and Auctioneer
Debbie Scheer is a Live Event Fundraising Strategist and Benefit Auctioneer/Emcee who helps nonprofits turn events into meaningful, high-impact fundraising opportunities. With a background in the nonprofit sector and years on stage, she blends strategy, audience insight, and presence to drive stronger results. Since becoming a licensed auctioneer in 2016, she has helped organizations raise millions by approaching every event as a strategic moment—not just a production.

Rochelle Johnson // Creative Artist (Act lll)
Rochelle Johnson (b. 1964) is a Denver-based artist whose work challenges traditional portrayals of race, particularly those shaped by Western ideals. Through her practice, she explores the intersection of personal and collective experience, with a focus on resilience, beauty, and the ongoing journey of self-discovery within Black identity. Rochelle holds a BA in Illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and an MFA from Clark University, and her work has been exhibited across Colorado. Alongside her studio practice, she is a dedicated teacher, mentor, and curator. IG: @rochelleJohnsonStudio

Jeff Campbell
Founder & Creative Director
Jeff Campbell has been creating compelling performance art in the Denver area and beyond for over 30 years, while always leveraging his platform as an artist for social commentary and civic engagement, as a direct service provider and as a grassroots organizer.
From touring Hip Hop artist and poet, to writing, and producing his own stageplays, Jeff has been an influence to the creative landscape of Denver across genres and mediums. He has inspired artists to follow his lead in becoming instructors throughout Colorado school districts, and has spearheaded advocacy campaigns utilizing art as a means to address police brutality and the mistreatment of people experiencing homelessness.
